Client Letter March '23

Dear Bank of Prairie Village Community~

I have never really believed March as the first month of Spring. It
is too susceptible to the winter chills and freezing rain. There have been too many “first days of March Spring” when I was still reaching for my winter coat.
No, April I believe is when the Spring expectations begin to
flourish. Although I am no expert on flowers, plants and foliage, I do
know Prairie Village and our surrounding neighborhoods, almost
overnight will majestically burst forth in an array of colors and
fragrances. Let’s get prepared.
With the Spring blossoms we can put away the snow shovels and
ice melt. We can bring out the lawnmowers and gardening tools. It is time to return to the yard and great outdoors. The warm southern breezes will arrive. The mornings will again begin with the myriad of bird songs while the afternoons will ring with playing children’s laughter.
The Spring sports season brings lacrosse games, soccer matches,
track meets – and of course Royals baseball. Tennis courts and golf
courses will again be filled. Yards will be groomed. Walking trails
crowded.
One can go on and on about the highlights and wonders of this
Spring season. The key is not to overlook it. Let’s embrace this Season as it blossoms in our community.
In short, this April, let’s view Spring as a new beginning and a
prelude to summer adventures.
That being said, whether it’s the dead of winter, the dog days of
summer, the peak foliage of Fall, or the flourishing of Spring flowers we are here, standing strong, in the “heart of Prairie Village” – and love being your bank and bankers.
